Taylor Momsen

  Taylor Michel Momsen, born on July 26, 1993, is an American model, singer-songwriter and actress. Prior to her departure from acting, she portrayed the role of Cindy Lou Who in the film How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and Jenny Humphrey on The CW's Teen Drama series Gossip Girl (2007-2012). Since the band's formation the band in 2009, Momsen has been the lead singer of the American rock band The Pretty Reckless.



 



 Early life



 Momsen was born in St. Louis Missouri. Momsen was born to Michael Momsen and Collette Momsen. Momsen has an older sister Sloane Momsen who is an actress. She is of Russian origin. Her family was Catholic and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in the elementary school, then Herbert Hoover Middle School in Potomac, Maryland. However she has since left the church.
