Sofia Vergara

  Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara ( born on July 10, 1972) is a Colombian and American actress and model.



 



 Vergara made her name famous when she was hosting two TV shows on Spanish-language television channel Univision in the latter part of the 1990s. Chasing Papi (2003) was the first major acting project for Vergara in English. After that, she was featured in Four Brothers (2005) and Tyler Perry’s comedy Meet the Browns (2008). Madea Goes To Jail(2009) received an ALMA Award nomination. The actress began her character as Gloria Delgado–Pritchett for ABC's comedy show Modern Family in 2009. For this, she received four Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards.
